Dr Przemyslaw Szeptycki

I have received my Ph.D. degree from France, my M.Sc and Engineer degrees from Poland. I have finished a few projects in the USA and currently I work in the UK.

At LIRIS Research Group I was working under supervision of prof. Liming Chen and dr Mohsen Ardabilian. Some parts of my research work were done in cooperation with prof. Dimitris Samaras and prof. David Gu during two projects in the USA.

My current interests include:
  • software engineering and design techniques,
  • computer vision and biometrics, including:
    •    automatic facial features extraction,
    •    statistical models,
    •    pattern analysis,
    •    2D/3D face pre-processing techniques and recognition,
    •    3D facial animation.
